A UNIQUE MULTICULTURAL EXPLORATION Effective Influence was incubated by Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), a non-profit dedicated to furthering the careers of under-represented minorities in business. With supervision, materials, funding and facilitators contributed by faculty at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, members of National Training Labs (NTL) and Citigroup, Effective Influence has conducted 15 conferences and a variety of area trainings. As the only lawyer and only Black female on our senior executive team, EI helped me adapt my leadership style to the different people, circumstances and teams with whom I work. --ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL & DIRECTOR OF LEGAL AFFAIRS, MONSTER WORLDWIDE INC. |

the conference risks are low. We wont lose our jobs or precious
relationships by experimenting with new behaviors there. Based upon methodologies developed at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and National Training Labs (NTL), Effective Influence explores what works and what doesnt, and with whom. Experimentation and joint problem-solving allow attendees to gather new information about when and where (and if) other choices would prove useful. Different from most training venues, a low-stakes, low risk environment with strangers affords the opportunity to practice new skills before departing for home. Although I approached this conference with some skepticism, it has truly enhanced my ability to interact with difficult people without losing sight of my own goals. --VICE PRESIDENT, FORTUNE 500 PRIVATE BANK For further information, please email info@effectiveinfluence.org. |
